Laboratory
The Lab Requests module enables you to manage the processes of requesting, tracking, and finalizing laboratory analyses performed in your clinic through a single platform. You can create laboratory requests, select test groups, automatically transfer results to the system via device integrations, and easily track the entire laboratory history through the patient card.It ensures that imaging procedures performed in your clinic are planned, managed, and archived in a digital environment. In clinics operating with manual X-ray management or PACS integration, radiology requests, images, and results are stored securely by associating them with the patient file. Thus, imaging processes become faster, systematic, and trackable.

The Lab Requests Module enables you to manage the processes of requesting, finalizing, evaluating, and recording laboratory analyses performed in your clinic through a single platform. While streamlining the workflow between veterinarians and laboratory staff, it allows all patient-based laboratory records to be stored securely, systematically, and traceably. When creating a new laboratory request, the request date, test group, parameters to be analyzed, and necessary descriptions are recorded in the system. Multiple test groups and analyses belonging to different laboratory devices can be added within the same laboratory request. The selected tests are gathered under a single request, ensuring more effective management of laboratory processes. In clinics with laboratory device integration, analysis requests are automatically matched with laboratory devices thanks to the Request ID generated by the system. Once the analysis is complete, results are automatically transferred to the relevant laboratory request and the patient's medical history without the need for manual data entry. This reduces data entry errors, provides faster access to results, and accelerates laboratory workflows. The Datavet feature within the module is a clinical decision support tool that assists the veterinarian's diagnosis process by analyzing laboratory results. Laboratory parameters such as hemogram, biochemistry, urinalysis, hormone, blood gas, and similar tests entered into the system are compared with a comprehensive disease database. As a result of the analysis, potential diseases are listed based on similarity rates, and descriptions, etiology, susceptible species and breeds, clinical signs, laboratory findings, prognosis, diagnostic methods, and recommended treatment approaches can be viewed for each disease. Additionally, when desired, two different diseases can be selected to compare their laboratory findings, allowing for a more comprehensive clinical evaluation. Thanks to the Compare Results feature, laboratory results belonging to the same patient can be compared across different dates to track the course of the disease and the effectiveness of the applied treatment. This feature simplifies monitoring changes in laboratory parameters, contributing to the evaluation of the treatment plan, determination of new testing requirements, and more accurate clinical decisions. If requested, laboratory results can be securely shared with pet owners via the SmartVet mobile application. If the veterinarian prefers, a notification is sent to the pet owner when the analysis is complete, and the results can be viewed via the mobile application.Radiology ModuleThe Radiology Module enables you to manage the planning, tracking, finalizing, and archiving processes of imaging procedures performed in your clinic within a digital environment. All created radiology requests are securely stored by associating them with the patient file, allowing easy access to past imaging records.Depending on your clinic's operational workflow, radiology processes can be managed via X-ray Requests (Manual Process) or PACS Integration (Automated Process). In the manual process, the request date is automatically determined when creating a new radiology request. The test group for the X-ray device to be used is selected, and the anatomical regions to be imaged are specified. After the imaging is complete, the images are uploaded to the system in JPEG or PNG format, and the request status is set to Completed to be saved into the patient's medical history. In clinics utilizing PACS integration, the created radiology requests are directly transferred to the imaging device's worklist. Once the scan is complete, the images are automatically transferred from the PACS system to the Smart+ system and matched with the relevant patient record. This eliminates the need for manual image uploading, speeds up the process, and ensures data integrity. If requested, radiology images can be securely shared with pet owners through the SmartVet mobile application by using the "Allow SmartVet" option. Furthermore, past images can be reviewed, sharing links can be generated, and radiology records can be accessed quickly via the PACS History screen. All completed radiology requests are managed centrally along with their operation status, scan details, images, and the responsible veterinarian's information. Pending, In Progress, and Completed statuses can be monitored from a single screen; past radiology records can be viewed and re-evaluated when necessary.
